World Lemur Day
At first Mandy, Charly, Charlen and Jean were a little intimidated by the big, round, orange monsters – but then they discovered how good they taste. Our lemur family rarely say no to fresh fruit and veg.
Lemurs have lived at Tierpark Berlin since 1984. As well as the ring-tailed lemurs, Tierpark Berlin is home to red ruffed lemurs, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, northern black-and-white ruffed lemurs, mongoose lemurs, collared brown lemurs, red-bellied lemurs and Coquerel’s sifakas. It’s the biggest collection of lemurs in Germany. So it’s no surprise the Tierpark joined the leading organisation for lemur conservation, the AEECL, in 2016.
