Various special events take place at Tierpark Berlin throughout the year. Here you can find an overview of what’s going on.

Concert: Duo violin and piano
21. March19:00 - 21:00Friedrichsfelde PalaceAvigail Bushakevitz & Han-Wen Jennifer Yu – Works by Debussy, Clara Schumann and Enescu
Born in Israel, grew up in South Africa. Avigail Bushakevitz, violin, studied at the Julliard School in New York, in Tel Aviv and at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. She has won violin competitions in Israel, Spain and South Africa and performs regularly as a soloist with all of South Africa's major symphony orchestras.
Taiwan-born Han-Wen Yu, piano, is described by Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg as "a discovery, a highly talented accompanist and a sure support!"

Together with her pianist Hans-Richard Ludewig, Karolina Petrova has succeeded in creating a sensitive portrait of Barbara, in which she uses texts and chansons, sung in French and German, to show the many facets of this personality. A sensual evening that touches, beguiles, moves and takes you into a world full of melancholy, stubbornness and beauty. Into the world of Barbara.

Concert: String quartet
18. April19:00 - 21:00Friedrichsfelde PalaceElaia Quartett – Works by Haydn, Schostakowitsch and Brahms
The young, up-and-coming Elaia Quartet, which is celebrated for its expressive and captivating music-making, has already performed at major international festivals.
In addition to other awards and engagements, it won a scholarship in the final of the German Music Competition 2022 and was accepted into the German Music Council's concert funding programme, which means the musicians can now be heard in many concert series throughout Germany.

Brandenburg Day
25. May10:30 - 18:00Bühne am Terrassencafé KakaduOrganised by the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse public savings bank
Tierpark Berlin is once again teaming up with the Mittelbrandenburgische Sparkasse to organise its popular Brandenburg Day. This fun-filled family event attracts a large number of visitors every year. As well as the usual attractions of Europe’s largest animal park, you can look forward to a programme of activities and various performances on the stage by the Kakadu terrace café.
This is a free additional offer for all day and annual ticket holders.

Volvo run through the Tierpark

Register nowTierpark Berlin welcomes runners again this year! The 5 km and 10 km courses take participants through the unique scenery of Europe’s largest animal park, past zebras, camels and buffaloes. The circular courses start and finish in front of the famous Schloss Friedrichsfelde manor house. Back by popular demand, participants of different ages can also enter as Generation Teams – but only with an appropriate animal team name! The Himalayan adventure world can once again be explored in a sporty way at the trail run. This year, for the first time, the running festival also offers the option of a 5 km walking distance. And even little legs can compete in the Bambini and Kids’ Runs.
