Eat, sleep, eat, sleep – one minute they’re snoozing in their cosy nest, the next: hunger strikes! Our brown pelicans have recently had three new chicks. The siblings will be raised together in the same nest – though usually only one or two young reach adulthood. The chicks hatched over Christmas and can be seen by visitors even during the winter months close to the Tierpark entrance by Friedrichsfelde manor house.
