Welcome, Garret and Duza! As of today, Berlin is home to two new exotic animals – a bear cuscus couple from Zoo Wrocław, who have moved into the Alfred Brehm building’s Tropical Hall. The newcomers are a real rarity in Europe: besides our adorable duo, this marsupial species is only found at two other zoos in Europe.

Garret and Duza’s new home was made possible thanks to donations from the charitable association Freunde Hauptstadtzoos. We are delighted with the close-to-nature habitat and extremely grateful for the support of the friends association.
