Welcome, Galileo and Satan! Two male bearded sakis from Belfast Zoo recently arrived at the Tierpark. Currently, there are only eleven of these monkeys living in European zoos – and you can now admire two of them in our Primate House. The father-son duo are currently familiarising themselves with their new surroundings in peace and enjoying their food. Over the next few weeks, the pair will be introduced to their new housemates, the red howler monkeys. During this period of acclimatisation, however, the animals will be on view separately.
