Hondo (12) and Haki (3) came to us from Zoo Leipzig, while Helo (10) and Harar (almost 6) have relocated from Cerza safari park in France. Since then, the four hyenas have been exploring their new home and sniffing each other out – after all, it’s important to get to know your flatmates! It’s not yet clear who will be the leader of the pack.
Did you know? Although spotted hyenas are reminiscent of dogs, they belong to the Feliformia suborder – the same as lions and tigers.
