The poor little fellow has already been through a lot in his short lifetime. Despite a straightforward birth, around two weeks later takin mum Zouzhi seemed to be suffering from poor health. After a brief improvement with lots of help from the vets, her condition deteriorated so rapidly that they saw no alternative but to put her to sleep. The little orphan is now being lovingly fed by his keepers. He gets the bottle five times a day and is feeding very well. The keepers are also providing lots of cuddles and affection. And a happy ending seems to be in sight: a friendly Hissar sheep, who does not yet have a name, is keeping the little takin company and they seem to be becoming the best of friends. We’ll keep you updated on the adorable twosome.
