It takes a pack to raise a pup

Four adorable new pups are currently keeping our pack of dholes on their toes.

The quadruplets were born on 15 March, and they’ve been keeping the gang busy ever since. When dhole pups are born, the entire pack pitches in.

These russet canines are an endangered species, with just 2,000 remaining in their natural habitat. The main reason for the dhole’s decline, apart from loss of habitat, is the complete disappearance of its prey in certain areas.
