Golden takin calf explores his home

Now that our golden takin orphan has gained some independence from the loving keepers who raised him, it’s time for him to get used to his habitat.

He took a good look around with his best buddy, Hissar sheep Sophie, and he seemed to like what he saw. He has been scampering around the habitat and bravely climbing the steep rocks. However, it will be a few days yet before he joins his fellow takins.
