The sun is shining at last! And that has enticed our prairie dogs out of their burrows.

These adorable and amusing little rodents can be found close to the Bärenschaufenster entrance and are well worth a visit!

But where did prairie dogs get their name? The answer is actually quite simple: it’s because they emit a dog-like bark to warn their fellows of danger.
