Zoo and Tierpark Berlin’s Biodiversity Prize

Deadline of 1 June for submissions from school pupils in years 1 to 13

Bat boxes on school buildings? A bee paradise on the playground? Green classrooms, litter-picking campaigns, neighbourhood action days?

Under the auspices of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, the Berlin World Wild conservation programme is calling for the submission of creative ideas for the Biodiversity Prize – under the motto “Back to Nature!”. Conservation of our planet’s biodiversity is particularly important to Zoo and Tierpark director Dr Andreas Knieriem, who is looking forward to reviewing all the exciting submissions.

School pupils of any age in years 1 to 13 may participate. The deadline for submissions is 1 June. You can find all further information here (German only).
