Three new Sichuan takin babies

Since yesterday, three tiny takins have been curiously exploring their outdoor area in the Tierpark’s Himalayan habitat.

Until now, the calves, who were born on 5 and 8 February, have been enjoying time alone with their mothers. But today they got to meet the rest of the herd. The nine members of the Sichuan takin herd seem to be living together harmoniously, and the three youngsters are getting along well too!
