Halloween 2018 – Bigger, better, and even more exciting
Tierpark Berlin’s special Halloween event as it has never been seen before
Tierpark Berlin is known for delighting visitors of all ages with its fascinating animals, wonderful playgrounds, and gorgeous walks along winding paths. But every year on 31 October, this idyllic parkland transforms into an enchanted forest of dark shapes, grimacing pumpkins, and creepy creatures. This year, Tierpark Berlin is teaming up with the Berlin Dungeon to create a special Halloween event with a unique programme of activities for all the family – complete with witches, ghosts, and other spooky characters!
Tierpark Berlin’s Halloween extravaganza has always been popular, but in 2018 it will be bigger and better than ever before. More of the park will be open to visitors, and there will be even more entertaining activities. The “Familienroute” (Family Walk) will open at 12 noon, with lots of interactive stands for little Halloween fans. Then, at 5:30 p.m., once dusk has fallen, the extended “Gruselroute” (Spooky Walk) will open. A new highlight is a special Berlin Dungeon show, where professional actors will whisk you away to the dark world of Grimms’ fairy tales. At Schloss Friedrichsfelde, the Zoo and Tierpark Friends Association will host an impressive laser light show and welcome visitors to the beautifully (or should we say hideously) decorated manor house – of horrors! Plus, the stage by the Kakadu terrace café will host various performances to get you in the party “spirit”.
Please note: Due to the popularity of this event, we recommend purchasing tickets in advance. On 31 October 2018 the gates of the Tierpark will open at 12 noon. Final admission is at 7 p.m., when the ticket booths will close. For security reasons, dogs are not permitted at the Tierpark during this event. The event finishes at 9 p.m.
