Guided sessions for school classes 11-13
Ancestral development – species vary
Based on the mosaic picture of the proboscidea phylogenetic tree in the Elephant House, the pupils get together in groups to deal with the individual eras in the development of proboscis-like animals. Following this, we study the more recent species living in the Tierpark.

Phylogeographic terrestrial rules
The purpose of this one-day project is to enable the pupils to work in groups to develop phylogeographic terrestrial rules in the Tierpark School using model experiments and by studying the animals at their enclosures. Each group presents their results in the subsequent plenary session.
