Tierpark train

In spring and summer a parkway train makes its circular tour on the Tierpark's premises, taking visitors straight to the animals they are particularly interested in. During the circular tour the train stops at various stations where visitors can enter and leave the vehicle up to three times on the day they cancel their passenger ticket. Visitors can thus explore the animals and landscape in quite a different manner. Duration of one tour: approx. 1 hour.
The train stops at the following stations:
- “Bärenschaufenster” visitor entrance (tour starts daily at 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:00 am, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm)
- Terrace cafe
- Children’s playground
- Alfred-Brehm-Haus
- Pachyderm house
- Restaurant entrance / llama paddocks
- Mountain animals
- Viewing platform
- Monkey house
- Restaurant entrance / water buffalo enclosure
- “Schloss” visitor entrance
From the entrance “Schloss” the train returns to the entrance “Bärenschaufenster”.
